District 4 EMS OTEP Training District 4's EMS training follows the state requirements for ongoing training known as OTEP (On going training and evaluation program). This is a state controlled program with specific requirements done over a three year time period for EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) continued education and recertification. The program includes 6 each medical and trauma modules as well as yearly CPR, defib, and airway management including quarterly combi-tube updates. This program would not be possible without the hard work of our EMS training coordinator Captain Joy Hart and our dedicated BLS (basic life support) evaluators. Kinimatics
